Pain to Power: The Energy of Emotions

In our last post we discussed the importance of having safe space to experience our emotions and that experiencing our emotions is essential to the process of transmuting pain to power. In this post we are talking about the energy of emotions, specifically the energy generated by pain, determining where that energy is coming from, and then what to do with it. We talked about safe space first because the ability to interact with the pain is necessary for the transmutation process. Tolerance and self reflection are essential skills for tapping into pain and transmuting it to power.

This week’s challenge takes us back to week one where we simply became aware and observed our pain without judgement. Hopefully this has become enough of a habit by now that we can begin to engage and interact with the pain.

Here is where the power is. Once you are in a space where you can observe and consciously engage with the energy of pain, the frequency and vibration of pain, you get to decide what to do with it, how it flows through your body, and where it goes.

Challenge: How does the energy of pain flow through your body? What physiological symptoms do you observe as pain moves through your body? Are you able to move it from one energy center to another?
